At Heros Fitness our friendly staff are always on hand to help with your query, no matter what the nature. Whether you want to book into a class, upgrade your membership, or perfect your technique on a new workout – we have staff on site who can help.

We have a massive range of weights and fitness equipment, as well as classes all week long. All of this and more is included within our membership fees which can be paid monthly or just pay-as-you-go.

Choose from over 30 classes a week. Go high energy to burn calories, take a strength and conditioning class to tone your body or dance your way to fitness.

Les Mills Body Pump

BODYPUMP™ classes are lean and mean and are an effective way to burn calories – it isn’t known as one of the fastest ways to get in shape for nothing. In any typical class, it’s possible to burn up to 600 calories through various exercises such as weight repetition with barbells.

Les Mills Grit

LES MILLS GRIT™ Strength is a 30-minute high-intensity interval training (HIIT) workout, designed to improve strength and build lean muscle. This workout uses barbell, weight plate and body weight exercises to blast all major muscle groups.

spinning

Spinning

Spinning is indoor cycling on stationary bikes. During the class the instructor simulates a ride taking you over flat roads, hill climbs, sprints and races. It’s tough but hugely rewarding, and all the exercise that could be done outside, can be done indoors with a spinning class.

Pilates

Pilates is a form of exercise developed by Joseph Pilates in the early 20th century. It emphasizes the balanced development of the body through core strength, flexibility, and awareness in order to support efficient, graceful movement.

Zumba

Music is the key ingredient to Zumba classes. The music, created with specific beats and tempo changes, transitions the workout from one toning, strengthening or cardio move to another, and targets every major muscle group in the body.

Training & Facilities

Boxing is a central part of the Heros Gym ethos. Our owners have been involved with all their lives and see boxing as not only great for fitness but also an important part of the local community.

We cater to men, women, and children of all skill and fitness levels. All members of the training team have experience in the ring, giving you confidence knowing that you’re learning from those who have been through it.

We pride ourselves on having found the balance between an authentic boxing gym and a welcoming environment where people from all walks of life can come and get fit.

Boxing classes are every Tuesday & Thursday the following times:

17.30-18.15 – Age 5-10

18.30-19.30- Age 10-15

19.30-20.30- Adult 16 +
